‘Mucho de Nada’ is a short film created for a competition hosted by the Venezuelan National School of Film. The prompt was ‘locked within 4 walls’. So I created ‘Henry’ a strange kid that has to deal with being confined to his house isolated from the world. 'Mucho de Nada' made Official Selection in the competition
One of the rules for the competition was to keep our shorts under one minute, My intention when creating this short was to highlight how small things in life become increasingly present and loud when we are alone and away from others, whether it be the ticking of the clock or the static noise from the TV.
'Mucho de Nada' was story boarded, designed and animated in 3 days, I am very proud of the results and it is the beginning of a series of shorts that explore my style and storytelling perspective.
